About our Program
In 2023, we awarded over $65,000 to scholarships to 19 students. In 2024 We awarded over $80,000 to 32 students, and in 2025 we awarded $103,000 to 36 students!
It is ABSOLUTLEY worth a shot to apply!
Our goal is to help as many as we can.
Scholarship Applicants must be:
Indiana Residents & 17-27 years of age
Preference will be given to:
Hauser Current/Past Grads
Residents in Bartholomew County; especially Hope, Indiana
Trade or Service Industries
Landscape/Horticulture Industry
Donors’ family descendants
Children of or employees/vendors of the business they founded
Multiple scholarships will be offered annually. Individuals can re-apply yearly. Determining factors for allocation will be based on the number of applications in an enrollment period, funds we have available for distribution in that calendar year, and how closely a request fits with the foundation's mission defined by our generous donors. Amounts may vary from year to year.

Garry L. Estes Scholarship
This scholarship is geared to those who are ready to get to work! Looking to get a professional license, certification, training certificate, or need specialized equipment to advance your career? Do you need assistance with those upfront costs? Please apply!
Ideal for interests: vet technicians, electricians, HVAC, mechanical repair, service industry, beauty school, nursing techs, specialized certifications, business and personal growth certifications, equipment/tools needs for trades, and so much more!
Mary Lou Estes Trade Scholarship
This scholarship is ideal for those looking to attend an educational institution of the trades or a 2 year or less accredited program.
Ideal for technical, mechanical, business, service, and the many other industries. We encourage you to apply!
Estes Material Sales Scholarship
Interested in a Bachelor Degree or Graduate level program ? Educational fees have you feeling overwhelmed? We have an opportunity for you! Applicants are welcome to apply for any degree/major.
Preference could be given to those with Landscape & Horticulture interests, but we encourage all to apply! It's likely we will not have applicants to fit exact interests.
The Loving Hope Community Grant
Looking to fund a special project or want to provide an opportunity, but your not for profits funds are short? If your organizations passion directly impacts students in our community, we may be able to help!
Our main focus is student based scholarships, but due to our budget we project to have extra funds available from our annual distributions and would like to donate those back into our community! Please apply so we are aware of your organization and its needs!
